“Humankind has not woven the web of life.

We are but one thread within it.

Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.

All things are bound together.

All things connect.”

– Native American Proverb

Chief Seattle, 1854

When will humankind willingly and openly admit verbally and in actions that all of us are just that – HUMANkind?

Not members of separate “races” encouraging division, hate, delusions of grandeur and unworthiness, and war.

When will HUMANkind learn and care that if we all don’t very soon begin and continue to do the right things instead of the immediately gratifying money-making endeavors that the Earth and HUMANkind will suffer and eventually perish?

What a tangled web HUMANkind is weaving in a number of ways. As the proverb says, “Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.” Well, then HUMANkind is about to be all tangled up, and likely sooner than it anticipates.
