No we aren’t…
My former English teacher used to always remind us that people get angry, only dogs get mad. We use “mad” and “angry” interchangeably, but there is a difference.

Yes, all babies cry when they are taken out of the womb. But I wouldn’t call it “mad,” more like shocked or scared. Can you blame them?!😫
