I don’t think so…we like to say that. But it would be neat to live more than once and in a different century, country, etc. We only say that once is enough because we have no recollection if we have walk the earth prior to this lifetime. And it goes without say that everyone wants to live a great life, perhaps they say once is enough if it’s a great, fulfilling life because it takes a lot of effort to live such a life, it doesn’t just happen.

For dome people it does just happen. All depends on what one views as a great life.
