This has been told to seemingly everyone forever. I, for one, wonder about the validity and soundness of this statement that “they” say. Well, whatever the case, guess we’ll find out sooner or later. Your thoughts?

This old saying I believe was invented to make one feel better about their current situation, whatever it may be. And there is some comfort in it, or a way to justify things that you have no control over. Maybe perhaps even Trump being next president.
